A High-Concept Revenge Thriller for the Digital Age

The Film Santa Zeta is a visceral journey that blurs the lines between social media stardom and vigilante justice. Directed by the seasoned Antonio Muñoz de Mesa, the film introduces us to Zoe, a world-famous travel influencer who utilizes her global platform as a sophisticated cover to hunt predators. What begins as a mission of vengeance in the neon-lit streets of Seoul evolves into a chilling international conspiracy stretching from Los Angeles to the Basque Country.

The Journey The filmmaking process was an exercise in guerrilla efficiency and creative ambition. Shot in just 18 days across three continents, the production mirrored the relentless pace of its protagonist. From the underground scene in South Korea to the sun-drenched piers of California, the crew utilized cutting-edge technology to achieve high production value that defies its independent budget. The film’s Vlogmovie aesthetic creates an immersive experience, making the audience an accomplice in Zoe’s double life.

The Vision Muñoz de Mesa conceived Santa Zeta from a place of urgent social commentary, choosing the Trojan Horse of the revenge thriller to address the global crisis of child abuse. By day, the film explores the performative happiness of influencers; by night, it exposes the darkness hiding behind digital filters. Featuring a powerful international cast, including the discovery of Nekane Otxoa and the unsettling debut of Darci Strother, Santa Zeta is more than a movie; it’s a reflection on how trauma mutates and how visibility can both protect and destroy us.
