Gathbandhan showcases the average Indian family; rooted in customs but inclining towards the modern world & an instance when they find themselves in a dilemma between the two ideologies. In the town of Jhansi, the Shukla household is picking their brains along with that of the Dubey’s to find an amicable solution to a unique problem they’re presented with. It appears that during the wedding of their sons; Bittu & Sonu, the brides got interchanged & the mishap has only come to light during the suhagraat. The obvious choice is to embrace what has happened & carry on from there, but all parties are not in agreement.
