Daniel Peralta is a Chilean filmmaker and designer. In 2011 he released his first film better not smoke which was screened at multiple festivals and received awards, critical acclaim and transformed him into an icon of low-budget garage cinema. In 2013, his second feature Fake Party He came to reaffirm his garage style. Andrés reads and writes his third film, and mostly known to date, has been selected in more than twenty festivals around the world. Primera persona is his fourth feature film, 2024-2025 premiering in Chicago, Santiago, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Mexico.
