In a decaying automated factory, robots endlessly repeat their tasks. After a small malfunction, one worker robot suddenly becomes self-aware and begins exploring the factory’s neglected depths. His awakening triggers an alarm, sending security units after him. While fleeing through warehouses and dark corridors, he glimpses the outside world—a freedom he never imagined. Inspired, he attempts to escape, but a careless mistake leads to his capture. The factory erases his memory and reprograms him, returning him to his station, unaware of the world he nearly reached.
