Synopsis

Iva, a troubled young girl from a broken home, decides to end her own life on the seventh anniversary of her father’s suicide. She finds solace after being saved by a mysterious young man. As a burgeoning romance blossoms over the course of a summer, the Stranger empowers Iva to stand against her abusive, low-level drug-dealing stepfather and her deaf, drug addict mother. The Stranger reveals a chilling truth – he is the fallen angel Lucifer, sent to prepare Iva for the divine mission of saving humanity. As she grapples with faith, destiny, and a growing madness, Iva undergoes the Stranger’s increasingly intense training for a shocking task – assassinating a powerful American televangelist whose influence hides a darker purpose.
