Synopsis
Pangolins, among the world’s most endangered species, are vanishing rapidly due to relentless poaching and trafficking. In the shadows of Laos’ black markets, dozens are slaughtered daily. In one Vientiane restaurant, jars of wine hold the remains of countless baby pangolins—silent proof of a brutal trade. In 2024, a team of Chinese investigators risked everything, posing as buyers to infiltrate the trafficking network. Their hidden cameras exposed never-before-seen evidence of this cruel industry. This groundbreaking documentary delivers the most in-depth investigation yet, unveiling the shocking reality of the pangolin trade. The world cannot look away—because only by witnessing this horror can we fight to end it.
